Painting With a Purpose Workshop: A Day of Creativity and Meaning
The Notre Dame of Kidapawan College – Community Extension Services held its “Painting With a Purpose Workshop” on November 14, 2025, at the NDKC CES–MVTP Room. The activity gathered participants for a day dedicated to creativity, learning, and meaningful expression.
The workshop opened with an Ecumenical Prayer by Kristille Kate T. Bacalangco, followed by Opening Remarks from Michelle B. Robiños, who emphasized art as a powerful form of communication and emotional expression.
Shaira Mae L. Aranzado introduced the guest facilitator, Mr. John Mark E. Datulayta from the Kidapawan City Culture and Arts Office. Mr. Datulayta guided participants through basic techniques and encouraged them to paint with purpose and intention.
During the Painting Workshop, participants explored colors and themes to create artworks that reflected their personal insights and stories. The room buzzed with creativity as each participant expressed themselves through their paintings.
Certificates of Participation were awarded by Mardy S. Abatay, who also delivered the Closing Remarks. She expressed gratitude to the facilitator and participants and highlighting the value of art in fostering connection and well-being.
