NDKC Strengthens Advocacy as It Joins CHED’s 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children

NDKC has significantly strengthened its commitment to social advocacy by officially joining the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) impactful 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC). The initiative was formally launched last Nov. 24, 2025, at the Convention Center, KCC Mall in General Santos City. The activity brought together higher education institutions committed to strengthening regional advocacy for the protection of women and children.

Ms. Jessa Adrein Gonzaga, Rpm, Gender and Development Coordinator, attended the launching ceremony, marking NDKC’s strong support for advancing awareness, empowerment, and protection for women and children in the region. By integrating this campaign into its institutional agenda, NDKC reinforces its dedication to promoting gender equality and fostering a safe, violence-free environment, both within the academic community and the wider society.
