NDKC IBED Community Extension Services Kicks Off School Year 2026–2027

The Notre Dame of Kidapawan College – Integrated Basic Education Department (NDKC-IBED) Community Extension Services (CES) officially launched its School Year 2026–2027 extension activities on the morning of July 18, 2026, at Purok Atis, Sitio Santo Tomas, Barangay Singao, Kidapawan City.

The opening program commenced with an orientation for the adopted community, followed by an earthquake drill facilitated by the IBED faculty to promote disaster preparedness and strengthen safety awareness among the residents.

As part of the outreach activity, school supplies, backpacks donated by Dr. Ryan Lonzaga and Ms. February Lyn Lonzaga, and grocery packs were distributed to the students in attendance, providing them with essential learning materials and support as they begin the new academic year.

In his inspirational message, Acting Principal Bryll L. Espeja, LPT, MAEd, MSc highlighted the value of education, community partnership, and service in fostering holistic development among learners and the community. Meanwhile, Leonisa E. Gatan, LPT, IBED Community Extension Services Coordinator, oriented the purok members, children, and youth on the guidelines and schedules of the tutorial sessions, encouraging their active participation throughout the program.

The activity concluded with expressions of gratitude from the participants, followed by the sharing of snacks, fostering a spirit of unity, generosity, and collaboration. The successful launch of the Community Extension Services marked the beginning of another year of meaningful engagement and service in NDKC-IBED’s adopted community.
