NDKC-IBED Dominates KPRISA Search for Most Functional Library and Science Laboratory
Notre Dame of Kidapawan College–Integrated Basic Education Department (NDKC-IBED) earned multiple top recognitions in the KPRISA Search for the Most Functional Library and Science Laboratory, conducted on December 11, 2025, in coordination with the Schools Division of Kidapawan City through the Curriculum Implementation Division.
NDKC-IBED was declared Champion in the Search for the Most Functional School Library in the Elementary, Junior High School (JHS), and Senior High School (SHS) levels. These awards recognized the school’s outstanding performance in maintaining highly functional libraries that effectively support teaching and learning, strengthen information literacy, and promote a culture of reading, research, and lifelong learning among learners and teachers.
In addition, NDKC-IBED was also awarded Champion in the Search for the Most Functional Science Laboratory. The recognition highlighted the school’s excellence in establishing and maintaining a science laboratory that promotes safe and engaging scientific inquiry and enhances science instruction through hands-on and learner-centered learning experiences.
The evaluation was conducted by Dr. Julieta S. Raz, Dr. Hazel G. Aparece, and Ms. Melody G. Almocera, MAEd, under the supervision of Dr. Cheryl I. Cerias, Education Program Supervisor, ensuring a fair, transparent, and standards-based assessment.
The Certificates of Commendation were formally awarded on December 16, 2025, during the 2025 KISLAP: Gabi ng Parangal at Pagdiriwang, held at JIREH Alliance School of Kidapawan, Brgy. Poblacion, Kidapawan City.
This remarkable achievement reflects NDKC-IBED’s strong commitment to providing quality learning environments and innovative educational facilities, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
