NDKC CONDUCTS NOTRE DAME DAY CES CLEANUP DRIVE

As part of the Notre Dame Day celebration, also known as CES Day, Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) conducted a cleanup drive on Tuesday morning, September 8, 2026. Students from various colleges and the NDKC – Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED) Senior High School participated in the activity alongside teachers, administrators, and staff assigned to designated areas in Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City.

Participants brought garbage bags and gloves to collect litter, segregate waste, and clean canals and roadside areas. Despite the heat, everyone remained enthusiastic and actively participated throughout the morning. The spirit of cooperation and camaraderie among the students, faculty, administrators, and staff was evident throughout the activity.

The cleanup drive aimed to promote environmental awareness, discipline, and the responsibility of being stewards of creation. More than simply keeping the surroundings clean, the activity demonstrated the importance of community unity, shared responsibility, and service—values that reflect the true spirit of a Marist education.

Through this simultaneous cleanup drive, NDKC students demonstrated that excellence extends beyond the classroom. By actively caring for the environment and contributing to the cleanliness of the community, they exemplified the value of being responsible and engaged members of society. The activity served as a reminder that maintaining a clean and healthy environment is a shared responsibility and a meaningful expression of service to others and to creation.
