Notre Dame of Kidapawan College commemorated the Founding Anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) last August 25 with the theme YABONG 2023, ASEAN MATTERS: EPICENTRUM OF GROWTH.
This year’s ASEAN day enthusiastically particular by students and staff who entered the campus wearing Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog to showcase the Philippines’ cultural heritage. It is a way to celebrate the diversity of cultures within ASEAN while also highlighting the unique traditions of each member nation.
In line with the activity, the Supreme Student Government (SSG) organized both academic and sociocultural activities. The ASEAN day concluded with the College of Engineering and Computer Education (CECE) emerging as the Overall Champion. It was a moment of pride and unity as the participants and supports of the three colleges participated the event and enjoyed the success and camaraderie that the competition has brought.
