NDKC NAMED MOST OUTSTANDING NSTP-CWTS HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAM
Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) was recognized as the Most Outstanding NSTP-CWTS Health Promotion Program under the Sustainability and Institutional Support category during the Healthy Settings Recognition and Awarding Ceremony held on September 29, 2026, at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill in Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Philippines.
The distinction was conferred by the Department of Health–Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) SOCCSKSARGEN Region, through its Health Promotion Unit. It recognizes NDKC’s steadfast commitment to advancing health promotion initiatives and sustaining programs that help build a healthier, safer, and more supportive school community.
Representing NDKC during the awarding ceremony were Vice President for Academic Affairs Christopher James D. Ferrer, PhD, LPT; NSTP Coordinator Mrs. Josephine M. Jusay, MA; and NSTP Instructor Mrs. Vilma T. Ulan, MPA.
The ceremony was also graced by Dr. Marvin S. Alagabay, Education Supervisor II and NSTP Focal Person of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). His presence underscored the importance of institutional collaboration in strengthening the implementation of the NSTP and advancing sustainable health promotion initiatives among students and communities.
This achievement reflects the collective dedication of the NDKC community to promoting health and wellness while fostering meaningful community engagement through the National Service Training Program–Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS).
The recognition also affirms the institution’s continuing support for sustainable health promotion initiatives that empower students to become responsible, compassionate, and service-oriented members of society while contributing to the well-being of the wider community.
