NDKC Holds Parenting Seminar
The Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) conducted a Parenting Seminar titled “Parenting Through the Stages: Guiding Psychosocial Development in the Digital Stage” on September 20 at the Br. Norman Roy Gymnasium.
The activity aimed to help parents and guardians support their children’s psychosocial development, particularly in adapting to the challenges brought by digitalization.
Ms. Khristine Joy G. Arellano, MS, Rpsy, the resource speaker, discussed the stages of psychosocial development and shared strategies for fostering children’s well-being and resilience. She emphasized the importance of community involvement in raising a child and guided participants on monitoring and managing their children’s digital habits.
The seminar concluded with an open forum where participants exchanged insights and raised questions on the topics discussed.
