College of Engineering and Computer Education
The college upholds the tradition of excellence embodied by the Marist Education. Through its intensive undergraduate programs that emphasize actual implementation of theories and of project-oriented and real-world environment, the college develops experts in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, electronics engineering and civil engineering equipping its students to become tomorrow’s leaders in industry, academe and government.
Civil Engineering is a profession that applies the basic principle of science in conjunction with mathematical and computational tools to solve problems associated with developing and sustaining civilized life. Civil Engineering works are generally one-of-a-kind projects; they are often grand in scale; and they usually require cooperation among professionals of many different disciplines.
The Electronics Engineering embrace and consist of any work or activity relating to the application of engineering sciences and/or principles to the investigation, analysis, synthesis, planning, specification, research and development, provision, procurement, marketing and sales, manufacture and production, construction and installation, tests/measurement/control, operation, repair, servicing, technical support and maintenance of electronic components, devices, products, apparatus, instrument, equipment, system, network, operations and processes in the field of electronics.
The BS Information Technology program includes the study of the utilization of both hardware and software technologies involving planning, installing, customizing, operating, managing, and administering, and maintaining information technology infrastructure that provides computing solutions to address the needs of an organization. The program prepares graduate to address various user needs involving the selection, development, application, integration and management of computing technologies within an organization.
